摘要：In 1764 the Dominican and academic Josep Mercader wrote a short dissertation on Waldenses. The author describes the appearance of this heresy in Catalonia, he presents also different hypotheses about the origin of Waldensian term and he finishs his dissertation with the merger of this heresy with Protestants in the XVIth century. Josep Mercader provides relevant information about the Waldensian history using documentary sources from his time.
