摘要：Digital preservation strategy is a particular technical approach to the preservation of digital materials. Although it may too early to make meaningful comparisons of the costs of digital versus traditional preservation, one thing is certain: the costs of preservation of digital materials will be different than for other materials and will require resource commitments of a different nature on an ongoing basis. This document will attempt to identify some of the main costs elements that libraries can expect to encounter when considering digital preservation as part of their ongoing collection management function.
