摘要：Aquest article posa en relleu la polisèmia històrica del concepte de frontera, les seves concrecions en els àmbits de les societats ibèriques de l’Antic Règim i la seva projecció en termes d’horitzó cultural en els entorns ultramarins. Mostra les facetes d’aquesta categoria històrica des de l’epidermis dels imperis fins a les fronteres interiors o les mentals i culturals, subratllant la rellevància de l’anàlisi de variades formes de trobades i converses culturals per explicar aquest fenomen fronterer més enllà del marc que ofereixen els paradigmes tradicionals.
其他摘要：This article highlights the historical polysemy of the concept of frontier. It analyses specific aspects of the phenomenon in Iberian societies of the Ancien Regime, as well as their projection in terms of overseas cultural horizons. It reveals the facets of this historical construction from the epidermis of the empires to the interior boundaries and even mental and cultural borders, stressing the relevance of the analysis of various forms of cultural encounters and conversations to explain this highly complex phenomenon beyond the framework offered by traditional paradigms.
