摘要：Neste estudo, procurou-se compreender os processos que influenciam na dinâmica do crescimento territorial urbano de Chapecó - SC. A análise foi focada no espaço urbano, contemplando o período referente à 2004/2014. O objetivo central foi analisar as tendências do crescimento urbano de Chapecó e a sua conformidade com o Plano Diretor de Chapecó. De forma específica, verificou-se na prefeitura municipal de Chapecó os locais previstos para os atuais e futuros projetos habitacionais, após a implantação do Plano Diretor, observou-se a tendência do crescimento urbano e a minimização das áreas rurais, identificou-se as ações tomadas pelo poder público municipal que venham a coibir a ocupação em áreas não previstas no Plano Diretor para o espaço urbano, o papel dos agentes sociais territoriais, assim como a influência dos corredores de centralidade para a formação dos novos loteamentos no espaço urbano de Chapecó. Este artigo utiliza como método de pesquisa uma abordagem de caráter qualitativo. As análises e discussões realizadas no estudo demonstram que o crescimento territorial urbano de Chapecó vem ocorrendo principalmente nas periferias da cidade, onde os serviços de infra-estrutura são deficientes.
其他摘要：In this study, we attempt to understand the processes that influence the dynamics of urban spatial growth of Chapecó - SC. The analysis was focused on urban space, covering the period relating to 2004/2014. The main objective was to analyze the trends of urban growth Chapecó and its conformity with the Master Plan of Chapecó. Specifically, it was found in the City Hall of Chapecó forecast locals for the current and future housing projects, after the implementation of the Master Plan, there was a trend of urban growth and the minimization of rural areas, we identified actions taken by the municipal government that will curb occupancy in areas not covered by the Master Plan for urban space, the role of territorial social agents, as well as the influence of corridors of centrality to the formation of new settlements in the urban space Chapecó. This article uses as a method of research a qualitative approach. The analyzes and discussions in this study demonstrate that territorial urban growth of Chapecó has occurred mainly in the suburbs, where infrastructure services are disabled.
