摘要：Este artigo descreve um estudo de caso sobre a disposição final de resíduos no setor de avicultura e suinocultura de uma instituição federal no norte do Tocantins. A questão de pesquisa é: como otimizar a destinação final dos resíduos oriundos do setor de avicultura e suinocultura. Inicialmente, apresenta-se uma revisão teórica a respeito de resíduos, o que falta compreender sobre o assunto e os desafios inerentes aos resíduos. A seguir, descreve-se o caso, de acordo com as informações colhidas pelos pesquisadores junto a instituição estudada. Descrevem-se os fatos, investigam-se as causas que os originaram e propõe melhoria para a destinação final e tratamento dos resíduos.
其他摘要：This article describes a case study on waste disposal in the sector bird and pig of an institution in northern Tocantins. The research question is how to optimize the disposal of waste from the bird and pig sector. Initially, we present a theoretical review of waste, which lack understanding about the subject and the challenges inherent waste. The following describes the case, according to information gathered by researchers with the institution studied. We describe the facts, investigate the causes that originated them and proposes improvements for the disposal and treatment of waste.
