  • 摘要:Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik pada Materi Himpunan di SMP Abstract: This study aimed to describe the process of implementation of the set of learning materials that can improve student achievement VIIa grade SMP Negeri 3 Want Jaya, Aceh Besar district.To achieve these objectives, the learning is done with Realistic Mathematics Education approach.Applied learning consists of 5 steps: understanding the contextual problems, solve the problem of contextual, compare and discuss the answers in groups, class discussions, and concluded.This study used a qualitative approach to the design of classroom action research conducted in two cycles.Results of the study is that by applying PMR student achievement has increased when compared to the results in the first cycle and second cycle.The learning process is carried out, including in the excellent category.The mean percentage score of students who obtain a minimum value of 65 in the first cycle and the second cycle in a row are 70 and 77.While the results of interviews showed that all three subjects of research has been to understand the concept of the set nicely.
