摘要:From the result of a fundamental dietetical study on albino rats, it was known that a diet in which animal protein (casein or fish meal) and soybean protein were mixed at the rate of 9: 3 was more efficient than a diet composed of.either one of them. One of the reasons for this higher efficiency is attributable to a supplementation effect of essential amino acids, especially of methionine and tryptophan, but it consists in yet unknown factors that the addition of soybean protein is unexpectingly effective.
