The method we propose is related to moods or atmospheres to the extent that it combines a situation, a set of forms, and a subject. It seeks to express the potential attractiveness of urban spaces and some spatial preferences. It differs from previous work related to urban stressors in that it addresses the interrelation between subject and surroundings from the perspective of attunement. Models and simulations presented in this article aim to produce an objective assessment of the sensory perception of places through the systematic analysis of viewsheds. This objectivation helps to introduce the principles of spatial connivance and spatial serendipity, which (combined with some qualitative observations) make it possible to explain some phenomena of attachment to places.
