摘要： A queixa de sangramento irregular ou excessivo é uma das mais freqüentes no cotidiano do ginecologista devido ao impacto que tem na qualidade de vida das pacientes. O diagnóstico de sangramento uterino disfuncional (SUD) é feito após a exclusão das causas orgânicas de irregularidade menstrual e menorragia. É mais comum nos primeiros anos após a menarca e resulta predominantemente de ciclos anovulatórios causados pela imaturidade do eixo hipotálamo-hipofisário-ovariano. O objetivo deste artigo foi realizar uma revisão atualizada e prática de diagnóstico e terapêutica do SUD na adolescência.
其他摘要： The complaint of irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding is one of the most common in gynaecologists' daily routine due to its impact in the patients' quality of life. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) diagnosis is made once organic causes of irregular menses and menorrhagia are ruled out. It is more frequent during the early years after menarche and results mostly of anovulatory cycles caused by the immaturity of the hypotalamus-hypophysis-ovarian axis. The objective of this article is to be a practical and up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic review on DUB in adolescence.
