摘要： O objetivo deste artigo é incentivar os profissionais da saúde a identificar, fazer correta abordagem e assumir adequada conduta diante das violências a que adolescentes e jovens estão sujeitos em áreas urbanas. Para tanto chama-se atenção para alguns tipos de violência que ocorrem com maior frequência durante este período da vida. Constata-se que são inúmeros os desafios que os profissionais enfrentam no seu cotidiano para prevenir, atender e recuperar de forma mais efetiva principalmente os grupos mais vulneráveis, quando envolvidos em situações de violência. Saber identificar os principais agravos decorrentes da violência é o primeiro passo para que o profissional possa planejar sua abordagem e possível conduta. Conclui-se que é preciso que as equipes multidisciplinares da saúde assumam um papel mais preventivo, atuando precocemente no âmbito dos problemas devido à viloência que acometem a população nessa faixa etária.
其他摘要： This article's objective is to enhance health professional to identify, to do a right approach and management, as well as, to assume an adequate position in front of adolescents and youth individuals involved with violence in urban areas. For that, the article calls the attention to the several kinds of violence that often occurs during this period of life. One can observe that in the professional practice to prevent, assist and effectively recover mainly the most vulnerable groups involved with violence situations, they have a big deal of challenges. To plan the management and the assistance, the health professionals' first step is to identify the main consequence behind a violent situation and then plan the approach and possible management. One concludes that it is necessary a multidisciplinary health team to take a preventive role and act precociously in the midst of those health problems that happen among this age group population due to violence.
