  • 摘要:This research refers to the previous studies on the semantic understanding of the English Counterfactual Conditionals linguistically and aims at revising the Conceptual Integration Theory to find out a better model of explaining the semantic understanding of the English Counterfactual Conditionals. Through the theoretical inference and analysis of some live samples of these conditionals, the validity and explanatory power of the new model are defined.
