摘要：The paper explores the evolution of contract motif in the western context of literatures, and the relation of the contract to self-identity, based on the types of the contract, which is a symbol of identity. And then, it explains the roots of the identity crisis against modern people, and points out a possible way for them to dwell upon this world.
