摘要： Several techniques have been developed for both identification and verification of faces. The most explored one is the eigen-based (Principal Component Analysis) method. Of all the variants of PCA considered, only the Projection Combined PCA used by Wu and Zhou, employed single training face per individual. In this experiment, an evaluation of Optimised PCA and Projection Combined PCA techniques was carried out based on following parameters, such as recognition accuracy, total training time, average recognition time. Overall results indicated that OPCA performed better than (PC)2A.
