摘要:In this article, the author outlines the enormous economic, human, and ecological damage caused by traumatic vessel source oil pollution. After an examination of the technical context of the problem, he explores current international and national efforts to combat the problem such as construction standards, traffic regulation, and crew training. He concludes that effective prevention technology is currently available, but awaits implementation through international cooperation.
