摘要：With the congressional enactment of the Financial Institutions Regulatory Act and the International Banking Act, 1978 can justifiably be labeled a landmark year in terms of banking legislation. The author discusses these important federal enactments and analyzes their impact upon the Florida banking market. Special emphasis is given to the interrelationship between state and federal banking regulations in light of the new federal legislation and recent decisions. In addition, significant judicial and legislative developments occurring on a state level during the survey period are considered.
