摘要：Este artigo busca refletir sobre o papel das ciências sociais, especialmente da Antropologia, na estruturação do campo da Saúde Coletiva no Brasil, através da revisão de um conjunto de trabalhos publicados recentemente a respeito do tema. Abordamos a Saúde Coletiva como lócus do campo científico, onde se disputam e se negociam, de um lado, a própria definição do que pode e deve ser pesquisado - com quais métodos e com que finalidade -, e de outro, quem tem autoridade para falar em nome da Saúde Coletiva e definir seus contornos. Através da história da estruturação da Saúde Coletiva no Brasil, discutimos a posição ocupada pelas três áreas que hoje a constituem - Epidemiologia; Ciências Humanas e Sociais; Política, Planejamento e Gestão -, procurando explorar a lógica subjacente à hierarquia que se estabelece entre elas. A partir de uma análise das transformações teórico-metodológicas e temáticas observadas no campo no decorrer dos anos 90 e no início deste século, buscamos mostrar como a tradicional hierarquia entre as ciências sociais e a área da saúde foi de certo modo subvertida, podendo levar a uma nova maneira de pensar a estruturação do campo da Saúde Coletiva como um todo.
其他摘要：This essay discusses the role of the social sciences, especially Anthropology, in structuring the field of Colective Health in Brazil by reviewing a number of recently published studies on the subject. We approach Colective Health as part of the scientific field, in which there is competition and negotiations regarding, on the one hand, the definition of what can and should be investigated - using which methods and for what purpose - and, on the other, who has the authority to speak on behalf of Collective Health and define its limits. We discuss how Collective Health was structured in Brazil, showing how the position occupied by its traditional sub-fields - Epidemiology; Humanities and Social Sciences; Policy, Planning and Management - implies an underlying herarchy that evolved through time. Analysing the theoretical, methodological and thematic transformations that ocurred in the field over the last decades, we argue that the traditional hierarchy between social sciences and health sciences has somewhat been subverted in such a manner that may lead to a new way of thinking about the the Colective Health field as a whole.
