摘要:Systematic study of the chemical composition of precipitation in a given region allows determination of the precipitation contribution of nutrients to soils. The data were obtained from a rain sampling program at. Guanajuato Plains, Guanajuato State, México, one of the most important agricultural areas in México, but in a process of rapid industrialization. The total amount of inorganic N deposited on Bajio Plains, ranged from 6 to 17 Kg/Ha, representing 5.7 to 22.8 % of the urea-N applied during the growing season. With respect to sulfate, the most abundant ion in rain water, the amount deposited by rain represented only 5.4 to 22 % of the total SO 4 as (NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 applied.
