摘要:The use of a microwave digestion system was evaluated as a mean of reducing sample preparation time for the later determination of metals such as Cd, Pb, Cu in beef liver by atomic absorption spectrometry. The procedure involved the digestion of 1.25 g of liver with 5 ml of HNO 3 50% v/v and 30 % 3 ml de H 2 O 2 30% v/v at 90 psi, 85-100 % of the power range, with 55 min of digestion time. Standard addition recoveries expressed in percentages were 100 % both for Cd and Pb and 100.5 % for Cu with a variability coeficient of 3.89 %. The results obtained for metals in beef liver were in agreement with the values published by USDA. The digestion method provides accurate and precise results in less time than conventional digestion procedures, without volatile elements loss.
