摘要:Employees’ job satisfaction has always been considered as an important issue in the field of Human Resource Development and the success of the organization. Job satisfaction cannot be overnight and it results from individual feelings of managers about everything that they experience in and out of their workplace. Banking sector was one of the highest paid sectors earlier in India. But in last one decade or so it has lost that attractiveness in terms of salary and the duty they are performing in terms of number of working hours as well as complexityof the task. Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) is a public sector bank owned by the Mizoram Government and State Bank of India and it has the largest number of branches in Mizoram. Due to changing banking scenario in India as well as in Mizoram, it is very important to study the satisfaction level of employees regarding their job as well as their organization. In this paper an attempt has been made to find the satisfaction level of employee working in MRB, also try to find out reason behind satisfaction and degree of satisfaction only.
