摘要：El historiador venezolano José Marcial Ramos Guédez hace un homenaje en este artículo al médico, antropólogo y escritor colombiano Manuel Zapata Olivella, intelectual integrado plenamente a las luchas de los pueblos afroamericanos, quien falleció el año 2004 en Bogotá. Coordinador general del Primer Congreso de Cultura Negra de las Américas, realizado en Cali en 1977, Zapata Olivella se pronunció siempre en sus libros y folletos contra el racismo, la pobreza, la discriminación y la exclusión de los afrodescendientes, la población indígena y los mestizos del continente americano.
其他摘要：The Venezuelan historian José Marcial Ramos Guédez pays homage in this article to the medical anthropologist and Colombian writer Manuel Zapata Olivella, an intellectual comitted to the struggle of the Afroamerican people who died in the year 2004 in Bogotá. The general coordinator of the First Congress of Black Culture in the Americas, which took place in Cali in 1977, Zapata Olivella was always mentioned its books and brochures countering racism, poverty, discrimination and the exclusion of the descendants of Afroamericans, the indigenous population, and the mestizos of the American Continent.
