摘要:Strategic alliances have played a key role in helping Spanish firms to face not only technical change and globalization challenges, but also those related to Spain's integration into the European Union. The objective of these alliances has been twofold: to enter into countries with political or cultural barriers, and to speed up the internationalization process of the firm. Although the weight of alliances in the internationalization projects carried out by Spanish firms has been gradually decreasing, the effective management of the existing alliances is still nowadays an important challenge.
