摘要:The following essay presents the results of an investigation whose object are the innovative proposals developed by the state public schools of Minas Gerais, based on the Program of Support to Educational Innovations (PAIE) which integrates the financial agreement Pro-Quality signed between the World Bank and the state Educational Office of Minas Gerais. Its main purpose is to know and analyze the effects of the program on work organization and school administration. It is a qualitative research because of its interpretative and dialogic feature, adjusted to the study of singular cases. The theoretical reference is based on the interpretative approach of authors such as Santos (1989) and Carbonnel (2002), who discuss innovation as a process of institutional rupture. The results show that innovative proposals do not always provoke the necessary changes in the reality of a school.
