摘要：Some reflections about the requisites for the qualification of History teachers in Brazil are presented in this article. The focus is on different political and pedagogical questions related with teaching major History courses after the implementation of the new LDB (Law 9.394/1996). Patterns of qualification subject to the proposals of the curriculum rules and the relationship with pedagogical practice in teaching History are specially analized.
