摘要：This article presents the first part of a research project the aim of which was to compile, for the first time, a complete list of bibliographical references in the Portuguese language relating to the Neoplatonic philosophies of late antiquity. In this article we explain the origin, objectives and challenges of the research, the author list and the works researched, the methodology employed and the state of the periodicals catalogue which the present author consulted in the Portuguese archives in 2003 and in the Brazilian archives in 2009-2010.
