  • 摘要:Considering that the economic growth is a must for any transition economy, human development plays a very important role because it leads both to the reduction of poverty (by the growth in economies and investments) and to the growth of the budget income, making it possible for the government to apply a series of occupational policies. The labor market analysis is realized both at a national level and at a regional level in order to identify the factors that led to the development of regional disparities in the level of employment, unemployment rate, education etc. By analyzing the most important economic indicator of regional development, the Gross Domestic Product per inhabitant, we can observe the existence of regional and national disparities. According to the Human Development Report (2005), Romania is placed above the world average of life expectation, education and GDP/inhabitant along the 2001-2004 period. At a national level, the Bucuresti-Ilfov region had the highest level of GDP/inhabitant (13,179 PPC($)-2002), higher than the level in Estonia , Lithuania and Slovakia. The high GDP/inhabitant influences directly both the standard of living and the level of employment, the level of unemployment etc.
