摘要：The purpose of this article is to provide Faith Community Nurses with current recommendations regarding screening and caring for individuals with major depression. Epidemiological data on major depression will be presented, along with recommended screening tools to assist in detecting major depression. Recommendations for the management of major depression will be presented, including the role that the Faith Community Nurse can play when providing care and education to individuals with major depression.
