摘要：This survey of the East Asian collections in United States and Canadian libraries for 1988/89 provides the latest data on the current status of resources, growth rate, fiscal support, personnel, and cataloging. The respondents to our questionnaire are listed in the following tables. We have not analyzed the results we obtained; we believe that the mere availability of these figures is valuable for our libraries' operations.
