摘要：El estudio analiza la distribución de la lluvia en América Central como región geográfica. La geografía como ciencia espacial permite el análisis climatológico del istmo en tres escalas. La escala zonal permite visualizar la influencia del flujo alisio, el comportamiento de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical y el dominio oceánico sobre el continental. La escala regional se reduce al territorio continental de América Central y se distinguen tres grandes regiones la Vertiente Caribe, la Vertiente Pacífica y la región de montaña. La escala local trata en forma muy precisa las variaciones locales del clima.
其他摘要：This study analyzes rain distribution in Central America, considered as a geographic area. Geography, as spatial science, allows for the climatologic analysis of the isthmus at three different scales. The zone scale allows visualizing the influence of the northern winds, the behavior of the inter-tropical convergence area and the oceanic influence over the continent. The regional scale focuses on the continental territory of Central America and distinguishes three large regions: the Caribbean basin, the Pacific basin and the mountainous region. The local scale deals very precisely with the local variations of climate.
