摘要：This paper offers conceptual reflections, questions, historical hypotheses and comparative discussions concerning transgenerational continuities and discontinuities in employment in Costa Rica: how and when they arose, how they were reproduced over time, and under what conditions they were interrupted, or gave rise to different patterns. The paper includes both general analyses and case studies, including the trades of typesetter and others included in this number to the Anuario: tailors, dressmakers and producers of sugar cane and grains.
