摘要：e analiza el origen de la vegetación centroamericana y la función de la región como puente biológico. A partir de una cartografía de la vegetación se estudian las diversas formaciones vegetales desde un punto de vista fisonómico-estructural y florístico. Las transformaciones de la vegetación crean un impacto importante en el medio ambiente. Por último se analizan las políticas de protección en América Central.
其他摘要：This paper analyses the origins of Central Americas vegetation and the regions function as a biological bridge between North and South America. The structure and history of different plant formation are studied with the aid of maps. Changes in vegetation have had an important impact on the environment. The article concludes with an analysis of policies to protect the natural environment in Central America.
