摘要：Este artículo estudia algunos rasgos geopolíticos que inciden en la consolidación de Costa Rica como una “periferia del placer” turística, para los países del llamado primer mundo. Estas condiciones van desde el contexto internacional, pasando por Centroamérica, a las condiciones más pequeñas como el caso de la provincia de Guanacaste, hasta llegar a la particularidad del distrito de Sardinal. Estas situaciones están mundialmente tensadas por la relación íntima entre migración y turismo, marcadas por nuevas formas de colonialidad.
其他摘要：This article studies some geopolitical features that affect the consolidation of Costa Rica as a touristic “pleasure periphery” for so-called first world countries. These conditions initiate from the international context, through Central America, at the smaller conditions of Guanacaste province, up to the particularity of its district Sardinal. These situations are globally strained by the intimate relationship between migration and tourism, marked by new forms of coloniality.
