摘要：A proposta geral deste texto é apresentar os itinerários terapêuticos percorridos por sujeitos soropositivos. Esses percursos, constituídos por inusitadas mesclas e composições, revelam caminhos complexos no enfrentamento do HIV/aids, de pessoas que transitam por terapias numa tentativa de restabelecerem ou preservarem a saúde. Admitindo a existência de numerosas terapias disponíveis, nos empenhamos em analisar os itinerários de terapias por elas denominadas de "tipo religiosa", na sua relação com o modelo biomédico. A etnografia revelou que as interlocutoras não separam a terapia biomédica da religiosa em planos distintos. O que sobressaía era a interação concomitante das duas soluções agenciadas com o mesmo propósito: a saúde. Foi possível observar um continuum terapêutico, ou seja, as opções não se isolam: antes, apresentam-se como partes consecutivas que fluem sem limites claramente delimitados.
其他摘要：The general purpose of this paper is to present the therapeutic itineraries of HIV-positive people. These courses, consisting of unusual blends and compositions, reveal the complex ways in fighting HIV/AIDS taken by people who undergo therapies trying to restore or preserve health. Admitting the existence of numerous available treatments, we analyze the itineraries of therapies known as being of the "religious type" in their relation to the biomedical model. Ethnography revealed that the interlocutors do not separate the religious and the biomedical therapy on different levels. What stood out was the simultaneous interaction of the two solutions employed for the same purpose: health. It was possible to observe a therapeutic continuum, i.e., the options are not isolated; rather, they appear as consecutive parts that flow without clearly demarcated boundaries.
