摘要：O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a adoção de inovações sob a perspectiva de fatores internos às organizações, examinando a relação da inovação com a liderança transformacional e o clima organizacional de suporte à inovação. O método de pesquisa adotado foi a survey. A população-alvo do estudo consistiu de 358 escolas municipais do Rio de Janeiro e a amostra final consistiu de 102 escolas. Ao todo, 1099 professores e 140 diretores responderam o questionário. Os resultados, usando modelagem de equações estruturais, mostraram o efeito da liderança sobre o clima organizacional de suporte à criatividade e inovação e, deste, por sua vez, sobre o desempenho inovador da organização. O estudo contribui para o entendimento da inovação em organizações burocráticas e estruturas mecanísticas.
其他摘要：The study aims to evaluate the adoption of innovations under the perspective of factors internal to the organization, examining the relationship between innovation with transformational leadership and the organizational climate supporting innovation. The research method used was the survey. The target population comprised 358 schools of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro; the final sample consisted of 102 schools, with 1,099 teachers and 140 heads of schools answering the questionnaires. The results, using structural equations modeling, showed the impact of leadership on the organizational climate supporting creativity and innovation, and of this construct on the organizations’ innovative performance. The study contributes to the understanding of innovation in bureaucratic organizations and mechanistic structures.
