摘要：Se propone una aproximación a la novela biográfica La mujer del caudillo (1952), de Nery Russo, para explorar cómo se piensa, en esta novela, a la mujer en tanto sujeto histórico y, sobre todo, cómo son tratadas en este texto la disciplina cientí fi ca denominada “Historia” y la noción de “verdad” que debería acompañarla. Al respecto, se evidenciarán: 1. Los mecanismos que le permiten a la autora presentar la historiografía como la compartimentación de una red de intercambios significantes, formulada para reglamentar las identi- dades posteriores a su creación; 2. Las estrategias mediante las cuales Russo da cuenta de sí misma en el campo cultural venezolano de la década de los cincuenta, momento en que el retorno al hogar por parte de las venezolanas parecía irrenunciable.
其他摘要：This article examines Nery Russo’s La mujer del caudillo (1952) in order to explore how this novel portrays the woman as a historical subject and especially how the scientific discipline called “History” and its notion of “truth” are treated in this text. In this regard, the following issues are highlighted: (1) the mechanisms that allow the author to present historio- graphy as the partitioning of a signi fi cant exchange network formulated to regulate identities, and (2) the strategies by which Russo gives an account of herself in the Venezuelan cultural fi eld in the early fi fties, when the domestic role of Venezuelan women seemed mandatory.
