摘要：Se adelanta una reflexión sobre algunas consideraciones que se deben tener presentes para el estudio del binomio salud-enfermedad dentro de la cultura popular. Al respecto, la revisión bibliográfica permite evidenciar que la salud y la enfermedad, sean estudiadas por separado o de manera conjunta, forman parte consustancial de lo que constituye tanto la naturaleza bio-físico-química del ser, como del despliegue de vida del hombre desde el mismo momento en que éste apareció sobre la tierra; y los conceptos mediante los cuales se expresan estos fenómenos han ido evolucionando a medida que las diferentes culturas han adquirido su configuración específica. Hoy en día, con el desarrollo que han alcanzado las ciencias sociales, se le ha otorgado especial reconocimiento y tratamiento temático al fenómeno de la enfermedad y al impacto que tiene la investigación del componente salud para el proceso de desarrollo social, lo que pone de manifiesto el amplio espectro de posibilidades de estudio que abarca todo el conjunto de componentes que se interrelacionan para explicar la dinámica del referido binomio. Se concluye que enriquece este objeto temático en la actualidad, la diversidad cultural que caracteriza a la humanidad; ya que cada cultura interpreta y asimila la salud-enfermedad de manera distinta, concretándose por consiguiente, diferentes manifestaciones y enfoques para interpretar y dar cuenta de esta realidad.
其他摘要：This paper presents a reflection on some of the considerations that should be kept in mind when studying the binomial health-illness in popular culture.Abibliographic review permitted showing that health and illness, whether studied separately or together, form an inherent part of what constitutes both the bio-physical-chemical nature of being as well as the unfolding of human life from the moment it appeared on earth; and the concepts through which these phenomena are expressed have been evolving as the different cultures have acquired their specific configurations. Today, with the development that the social sciences have achieved, special recognition and thematic treatment have been granted to the phenomenon of illness and to the impact that research has on the health component for the process of social development, manifesting the broad spectrum of possibilities for study, which includes the entire set of components that interrelate to explain the dynamic of the aforementioned binomial. Conclusions are that today, the cultural diversity that characterizes humanity enriches this thematic object, since each culture interprets and assimilates health-illness in a different manner, thereby realizing different manifestations and approaches to interpret and become aware of this reality.
