摘要：Este ensayo tiene por objeto dar cuenta de las transformaciones que acontecen en la práctica profesional del cientista social tras la emergencia del paradigma epistemológico «postpositivista». Para ello, se establecen metodológicamente tres tipos ideales de perfil ético-profesional (especialista, misional y dialógico) con el fin de establecer comparaciones entre ellos y apreciar la singularidad de los cambios señalados y sus implicaciones prácticas. Se concluye relacionando el perfil dialógico con una reformulada teoría crítica de la sociedad.
其他摘要：This essay aims to give an account of the changes that are taking place in the professional practice of social scientist after the emergence of «postpositivist» epistemological paradigm. To that end, it sets methodologically three professionals-ethical ideal profiles (specialist, missionary and dialogic) in order to make comparisons between them and appreciate the uniqueness of the changes noted and their practical implications. It concludes by linking dialogic profile with a reformulated critical theory
