其他摘要：This study, in its systematic review modality, aims to quantify and to analyze the theoretical, research, and intervention characteristics of arti cles on psychological and health topics written by psychologists who work at Mexican institutions. The sample included articles published in sixteen international journals edited in Spa n ish. The results show, in general, a low productivity, and a lack of i nterest on the o retical and conceptual analysis, as fundamental issues for the development of health field; however, in a double positive sense, the use of quasi - experimental and experimental designs, as well as the collaborative efforts with psychologists from other countries, are gaining strength. Implications of this reality are being examined with special emphasis on the need to consolidate a professional formation and trai n ing projects based on a competence approach.
