摘要：El presente trabajo hace un análisis de los cambios en la composición del estudiantado en las universidades argentinas que se producen como resultado de las profundas transformaciones del sistema universitario que se van desarrollando desde mediados de los años 90. En ese contexto signado por el incremento en el número de instituciones de educación superior, se verifica la diversificación del mundo estudiantil por dos procesos paralelos: incremento de los nuevos estudiantes universitarios provenientes de hogares sin esa tradición, y aumento de los estudiantes de posgrado, producto de un relativamente tardío desarrollo de los mismos. Ambos procesos contribuyen a volver más amplio y diverso al mundo estudiantil, planteando una serie de preguntas en torno al modo en que la tradición democrática del gobierno universitario da cuenta de estos cambios.
其他摘要：This paper gives an analysis of the changes in the composition of the students in Argentine universities. These variations are a result of massive transformations which were introduced in the 90’s. That context, signed by the increase in the number of educational institutions, is recognized by the increase of the diversity of the students by two parallel processes: the increase of the number of students that come from homes without university tradition, and the proliferation of the postgraduate students. Both processes contribute to growth the heterogeneity of the student body, proposing questions about how the democratic tradition of the university government response to the changes.
