摘要：Objetivo: Analisar a atuação dos fisioterapeutas nos Núcleos de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF) com indivíduos senescentes residentes no município de Arapiraca-AL, Brasil. Metodos: Estudo caracterizado como descritivo e qualitativo. Os sujeitos da pesquisa foram oito fisioterapeutas realizando intervenções junto aos idosos nos NASF, de ambos os sexos, regularmente inscritos no Conselho Regional de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional1 (CREFITO 1). Os dados foram obtidos no mês de outubro de 2010 com a aplicação de um questionário para caracterizar a amostra, sendo coletados dados pessoais e questões relacionadas à formação acadêmica e ao trabalho nos NASF. Além disso, realizou-se uma entrevista abordando opiniões dos fisioterapeutas referentes ao cuidado com o idoso naEstratégia Saúde da Família (ESF) e nos NASF, à atuação dos fisioterapeutas dos NASF com idosos, e às dificuldades vivenciadas nesse trabalho. Foi realizada uma análise qualitativa por meio da técnica do discurso do sujeito coletivo. Resultados: Os profissionais incluídos no estudo consideraram regular e positivo o cuidado ao idoso na ESF e nos NASF, respectivamente. As intervenções deles nos NASF se baseiam em ações sustentadas na atenção primária à saúde e as dificuldades encontradas dizem respeito à equipe multidisciplinar e à falta de recursos e infraestrutura. Conclusão: Os fisioterapeutas dos NASF do município em estudo desenvolvem suas ações na população senescente, com ênfase em medidas educativas, preventivas e promotoras de saúde.
其他摘要：Objective: To analyze the actions of physiotherapists in Nuclei to Support Family Health (NSFH) with senescent individuals residing in the city of Arapiraca-AL, Brazil. Methods: The study was characterized as descriptive and qualitative. The research subjects were eight physiotherapists performing interventions with the elderly in NSFH, from both genders, regularly registered in Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy 1 (RCPOT 1). Data were obtained in October 2010 with a questionnaire to characterizethe sample, having been collected personal data and issues related to academic and work in NSFH. In addition, there was an interview addressing opinions of physiotherapists relating to care of the elderly in the Family Health Strategy (FHS) and the NSFH, the role of physiotherapists in NSFH with seniors, and the difficulties experienced in this work. Qualitative analysis was performed using the technique of collective subject discourse. Results: The professionals included in the study considered positive and regular the care to the elderly in the ESF and the NSFH, respectively. The interventions are based on NSFHactions based on primary health care and the difficulties relate to the multidisciplinary team and the lack of resources and infrastructure. Conclusion: The physiotherapists in NSFH of the municipality under study develop their actions in senescent population, with an emphasis on educational measures, preventive and health promoting.
