摘要：El presente trabajo analiza la evolución en la normativa provincial respecto al funcionamien- to de las Cortes Supremas provinciales de Ar- gentina (como por ejemplo la duración del mandato, el tamaño de las cortes, las garantías constitucionales de los jueces y los mecanismos de designación y remoción). El principal obje- tivo es determinar de qué forma el diseño institucional condiciona la relación entre los poderes del Estado. El estudio se basa en un relevamiento exhaustivo de todas las constitu- ciones provinciales vigentes desde 1983 hasta 2009, así como también de la normativa pro- vincial de esos años. Los principales resultados de la investigación revelan que los cambios en el diseño institucional relacionados con el fun- cionamiento de las Cortes Supremas general- mente han incrementado el grado de vulnera- bilidad del accionar de dichas instituciones fren- te a los otros poderes del Estado.
其他摘要：This research presents the historical analysis of the rules and norms that regulate the functioning of the argentine provincial Supreme Courts (such as the tenure system, size of the courts, justice’s constitutional rights, and the appointment and removal system). The objective of this research is to analyze to what extent the institutional design can condition the relationship of the Judiciary branch with the other branches of government. For this purpose it was created a genuine dataset that gathers all the provincial constitutions and rules that were in force between 1983 and 2009. The main finding of this research is that the changes in the intuitional settings have often increased the degree of vulnerability of the Cortes vis-à-vis the other branches of government.
