  • 摘要:“Go back to your traditions- See, Think, and Practice.” Andhra Pradesh was among the very few states in the country, which indicated green revolution to be the major reason of disaster in agriculture sector, especially in respect of rice, in the 1970s. In last decade or so, farmers' suicides have increased in Andhra Pradesh. Short term and long-term factors are responsible for farmers' suicides and agrarian crisis. The green revolution in the 1960s and 1970s has been greatly facilitated by the availability of good irrigation infrastructure.
