摘要：Self esteem and Life satisfaction have greater contribution over wellbeing of human beings. Basing on the importance of these factors, the study was designed to assess the levels of self esteem and life satisfaction among the university students. The sample consisted of 120 (60 males and 60 females) students from Utkal University and Ravenshaw University. Coopersmith‘s Self Esteem Inventory and Diener’s Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) were administered on the participants. The data were analysed by means of Pearson’s ‘r’, and ‘Two Way ANOVA’ (F). The results revealed that the self esteem and Life Satisfaction were significantly positively related. The Female High SES University Students showed a higher level of Self esteem and Female Moderate SES University Students showed a higher level of Life satisfaction.
