摘要：Study objective. Modeling of the approaches to the improvement of the existing physical training system at secondary educational institutions. Methods. The main principles of health preserving physical training at secondary educational institutions and scientific approaches to its improvement, and also a model of national system of health preserving orientation of physical training at schools have been elaborated on the basis of the results of three-year dynamics of the formation of the health of schoolchildren under the impact of the organization of physical training of different types at schools, analysis of literary data and expert assessments.
