摘要：Objective. To clarify a potential influence of the other environmental factors, except generally accepted - iodine deficiency and radiation, on thyroid cancer (TC) incidence. Results. The literary data indicate the thyreotropic properties of the number of the environmental chemical pollutions, pesticides in particular, and their oncogenic effect on the thyroid gland in the experimental animals. The more information about cases of TC among people with an occupational exposure to pesticides is accumulating in literature. With respect to the population this question is unresolved and requires a comprehensive study for the implementation of the effective hygienic prophylaxis.
