摘要：Objective. Study of the typical errors existing in the author's profiles of the researchers of SI “O.M.Marzeiev Institute for Hygiene and Medical Ecology, NAMSU” in the Scopus citation index. Determination of their impact on the presentation of scientific achievements of the organization and its employees to the world scientific community. Materials and methods. Publication activity of 45 researchers of the Institute for 1970-2013 was systematized, a data set of 200 articles was studied. The data were obtained at the result of search in the Scopus database. Results. Discrepancies and errors in the presentation of the scientific output of the Institute were analyzed with the help of the Scopus citation index. Impact of the incorrect affiliation in the author's profile on the process of legitimation of the scientific knowledge, obtained by the Institute, definition of true hierarchical relationships and clarifying of the current role of the institution in the formation of scientific schools and directions is demonstrated. Dependence between correction of common errors and increase of h-index has been revealed. Procedures of filing and processing of information concerning the control of the dissemination of the scientific results of the organization’s staff are proposed to be improved on the basis of the research results.
