摘要：The necessity to use the nuclear energy is very urgent nowadays. However, the use of the nuclear power plants often meets the negative public opinion. The general public is afraid of the negative consequences of environmental radioactive pollution. The negative consequences are formed on the basis of false ideas about the effect of radiation on the body. New notions about the mechanism of influence of the radiation on the living cell, substantially reducing the risk of radioactive environmental contamination for all living beings, are presented in the article.
