摘要：The article represents the process of Magyarization of Ukrainian intelligentsia and clergy of Transcarpathia in the late 19th – early 20th century. Results of its implementation by the Hungarian authorities are reflected. Attention is focused on the negative influence of the assimilation of Ukrainian nation on the development of national movement in the region.
