摘要：The relation of Moslems and Christians in Indonesia is always interesting to be discussed since it is riddled with dynamics and conflicts. The data are directly obtained from the Muslims (Moslem Boarding Schools) and Christians (East Java Christian Churches) in Malang, East Java, by using in-depth interviews, participatory observation and are supported with bibliographical studies. Data analysis is carried out in the descriptive qualitative method. The theory used in this research is the social network. GKJW (East Java Christian Churches) and Pondok Pesantren (Moslem Boarding Schools) have succeeded in establishing realtions and nertworks resulting in the forces to bridge inter-religions relation in East Java. The fact shows that local resources play major roles in establishing relations that allow inter-religion cooperation to take place. The Moslem-Christian network established by the Pondok Pesantren and the GKJW shows the growing awareness of the importance of establishing relations among Moslems and Christians. SIKI program (Intensive Study of Christians and Moslems) has started and learnt to understand other religions. This social network is a good starting point to solve the problems that had been the burden of inter-religions lives. SIKI has conducted the dialogue of life directly involving Moslems and Christians with the presence, fellowship, and live in activity . This is the importence of why inter-religion and or religion institutions cooperation and network need to be carried out and maintained.
