摘要：The monograph by Doctor of Historical Sciences E.N. Valeyev "History of book industry in the Volga-Kama region (1773-1917)" (Kazan, 2012. 408 p.) is devoted to the underinvestigated chapters of book history of the Russian province in the context of multinational Volga-Kama region. The author pays particular attention to the establishment and development of book culture of the peoples living in the region in the context of understanding the long historical path of national culture development on the rich historical background of the late XVIII - early XX centuries.
