摘要:Objective: To analyze the physical effort made by the referees in official games of the Championship of Professional Football Baiano. Materials and Methods: This study is a quantitative and descriptive in nature, taking a sample of a n=30 referees affiliated to Bahia Federation of Football. We collected data related to the distance traveled by the referees during the games through the use of GPS, and for the intensity analysis is collected lacato the blood immediately after the game. Results: We found an average distance of 10.05 km per game. Since the average speed found in the study was 5.9 km/h per game, however, due to the large flashing that occurs in the game there are situations where the referees get to reach speeds of up to 24 km/h, which is considered the intensity high intensity, which was proved with the collection of lactate, which obtained an average of 5.9 mmol/L. Conclusion: The effort made by the referee during the game, is characterized as an intermittently occurring large variation of the intensity of efforts, may not exceed the anaerobic threshold, thereby requiring a specific training of intermittent character Key words: Football Referees, Intermittency and anaerobic threshold.
